Hey there, ROW80 friends!
Way back on Week Three, I realized something was wrong and I wasn’t making the progress I wanted to make. I said I’d check back in a week or two and adjust if things weren’t working the way I wanted them to.
And then… I vanished.
I’m not sure why. There were things that changed my routine – a coworking group, dogsitting for a dear friend, travel, my late husband’s birthday, a major power outage and a burst pipe after a deep freeze.
But these weren’t really the reason.
I’m thinking now that I had too many goals, too quickly, in too many directions, with not enough structure to execute them.
So I’m going back to basics. Five goals. I’ll keep them pretty simple for this week. And I’ll be adjusting for the quarter and the year this week, too.
I’ll also be paying attention to my inner resistance, because I know it’s there, and it’s slamming on the brakes of progress, so that I’m getting in my own way. And knowing why I’m doing that is always useful…
So here are the five simple goals – and a renewed commitment to show up whether things are going well – or going otherwise.
Week Eight Goals:
Completed goals: 0%
In progress goals: 0%
Still waiting goals: 100%

Ooh… Love your mini-blurb about the ROW80, Shan.
And… I totally get the inner resistance. Especially when life gets complicated. If you haven’t had the chance to stop and start processing, sometimes momentum will carry you a ways along your path.. but as soon as you take a moment to recalibrate (or rest!), it becomes too easy to just stop.
Indeed!
Glad to have you back, and I hope keeping it simple works for you, Shan!
So far, so good, Julie! It’s good to be back!
