Stop and Feel the Feels: 12WY6; ROW80 R1; MidWeek 2

row80logocopy (1)

Hey there…

I’ve been a bit distracted the last day or two. Emotional times tend to do that to me, and Saturday will mark one year since my husband and Accomplice in Mischief died of metastatic pancreatic cancer.

I’ve been spending a bit more time with the kids and the dogs. On Friday, I have a coffee date with an old friend from my Starfleet days (early 20s). We haven’t seen each other for decades and reconnected completely accidentally via a mutual friend’s Facebook timeline.

I’ve taken a couple of spontaneous webinars, too – but all of this doesn’t keep me from feeling the Jim-sized hollow in my life and my soul.

When we have the sunshine of love, we have to accept the possibility of shadow. May you hold those you love close, and cherish them, this week and always.

Will you do that, for yourself?

For them?

For us?

  1. Wowee! So much blue and green! Tonight’s WAM is going to be great even if you didnb’t make any further progress, which I know you did.

And I teared up for your intro. HUGS!!!

  2. Loving moments…. they won’t fill that Jim-sized hole (not sure anything could, in many ways he was larger than life, ideas, dreams, personality), but hopefully they will help sooth the rough edges of your loss as time passes. Much love…. so very much love.

And wonderful about reconnecting with an old SF friend. ❤

  3. Hmm!
Quite a to do list you’ve got there girl. Good luck. Chin up this week, this too shall pass and know that Jim rests in the company of Jeshua for all time and that is where you will find him.
Blessing from Geoff in Johannesburg South Africa.

  4. So glad you see you moving forward and making progress! Exciting about the news reporter job! And big, gentle hugs. You are in my thoughts.
