Wandering with Purpose: #ROW80 / #12Week Year EOW11

row80logocopy (1)

Hey there!

I wrote on Wednesday that it had been a wandery week for me so far. That was a trend that kept on giving all week.

Thankfully, I’ve learned some tactics over the years for dealing with times like this, so I spent time focused on One Thing – and just one – from my list, until I completed it, and then I moved on. I also gave myself permission to rest and to be just as I was.

It helped.  This still wasn’t a banner week for me, but where I could have been slogging through figurative cold molasses in January, instead I managed a more purposeful and less painful kind of progress.

This week, that was a victory.

What did you get right this week?

  1. I hope the rest of the year will feel kinder to you. I can’t even begin to imagine what you’ve been through… All I can say is I’m impressed: you handle a lot and still find time and energy to cheer us fellow-ROWers. THANK YOU!

    • Thank you, Julie.

I hope you never know first hand what this is like.

Sometimes I handle things. Sometimes I juggle madly, trying to keep up. Other times, I drop the balls and they’re all over the floor!

The kids and I have decided that just surviving this first year is good enough, though. Anything we do beyond that basic standard is a bonus.

As for cheering people on – I tend to be very empathetic. Helping others feel good makes me feel good too – so the more cheering I do, the better it is for me and the kids!

You are welcome, and THANK YOU! You really brightened my morning! ❤
