And Now, Noli! #ROW80 Round 2 /#12WeekYear 3 End of Week 3

Hello, ROWers and friends!

It’s Sunday –  time to wrap up my Week 3 Action Plan (Here’s my Midweek 3 progress).

Weekly Wrapup Questions:

What did I accomplish this week?

  • Participated in my second Meet the Author event. The audience was  engaged, and I used my script more as a guideline than a lifeline.
  • Facilitated  friend time for Lise, and adapted plans for Miah.
  • CampNaNoWriMo:30K crossed.
  • A-Z poems up to date.
  • A bit of my flash fiction course; P2P.
  • Bed disassembly/assembly.
  • We adopted Noli, a young shlelter pit bull.

What’s on deck for next week?

  • Catching up with current writing goals
  • Prepping for May.
  • Finishing my already-late revision project, and brainstorming another.
  • Focus on my learning: Pixels to Platform, flash fiction, and revision.
  • More work with Noli: coexisting with cats, learning her signals/preferences, socialization, make vet appointment/get license.

How do these things serve my deeper purpose?

  • Author events are early marketing exposure – a way to break the ice.
  • Writing and learning give me product to market, and new skills for marketing and craft.
  • Making sure the kids have the friend time they need, and I have the companionship of friends (canine and otherwise), adds to the peace in our home, which, in turn, makes us all more productive and able to learn.

We’re On Facebook, Too!

  1. Aww so nice to see Noli snuggling with you while you work! You got quite a bit done this week, especially with introducing a new family member to your home. Keep at it, lovely! ❤

    • Thank you! Today I was quiet, but I explored Slack a bit, made our summer reservations, and helped Lise secure a pup. Also lots of Noli-bonding – she’s happier and more comfortable today. Not so much writing, but some goals and P2P stuff.

And I got to see you HERE!!!! =D Stop by anytime at all! =D

    • It was better than I thought. Something to build upon. Haven’t gotten back to NaNoWords yet – I’m going for a marathon once I get started….by tomorrow, if not tonight.

Maybe I need this time away?

    • Merci beaucoup, Julie!

She’s adjusting fairly well. Not that it’s seamless or perfect – we all have things to learn here, and that takes a bit of time. Totally worth it, though!

    • Noli actually loves to be snuggled under a fleece throw blanket. So, when she’s ready to sleep, I tuck her in. =D

Via seems like a complete love, too. I’ve enjoyed getting to know her online. ❤

Take a chance! Type something in this box, and see what happens! =D
