Building On Inspiration: February 26, 2017

Hey there!

Well, here we are at the penultimate update of February! I’ll have my final wrapup of these goals on Wednesday, and my brand-new list of March goals will appear in one week. My Round One End-of February update will also post on Sunday, March 5.

It’s been a week with a lot of progress, but also the type where a lot of it feels a little subterranean. In other words, there’s more to this update than meets the eyes. And I’m okay with that – my experience is that these times translate to productivity in their own time, and in their own way.

Suffice it to say that I’ve had a few inspirations and epiphanies, and they’re settling and simmering…and I’m happy.

And you?
Are you loving February, or happy to see it going?

  • Fan Fiction: Draft one new chapter each for “Cowled”  and Love and Loss. Side goal. Cowled: 4,693/~5,000 words. Scene 4/4 complete. More notes for later chapters; more clarity for the remainder of this one; more notes for LAL; simmering.

  • Kifo Island: Sea Changes: Continue rough revision for crit group; scenes 78. Tertiary goal. Highlighted Scene 7; revision in progress; p 3/5 complete. Adapting: complete and submit Scene 7; back-burnering 8 until March.

  • Blog Hops: #Loveuary: Write a daily drabble focused on the next chapters of Love and Loss, using a prompt pool from my fans ; visit other posters as I can. #atozchallenge: Sign up for the challenge and complete any loose ends and unfinished business – by the end of the month, all posts should be finished and scheduled (to both website and blog). Primary goal. #Loveuary Drabbles: 25/28 complete. #atoz: Week Two: Formatting/links/adding images completed; 6/6 (B-G). Week One: A post finished and scheduled; 1/26 ready to go! Adapting: I’m going to create a single page on this WP blog for the #atoz posts, rather than format them all again. That will save time, and help me to link and brand the two sites together.

Those who know me need no explanation at all for this!

  1. Some “back burner” projects are the ones that we find best developed in the end. I’m really curious about your experiences in your class too. No doubt when the two get together you’re going to come up with something amazing.

Take a chance! Type something in this box, and see what happens! =D
