Prosperity in Wording: October 9, 2016

Lots of progress this week, and also some revelations. So, let’s get right on with the stories and the update, shall we?

Do You?” Finale:

“Vulcans mate. Humans make love. Our bond was forged while we were engaged in the latter activity.”

Trip took his tongue back out of his cheek. He hadn’t been going to correct T’Pol’s ex-husband, even if he had to bite it. But she’d done it for him, and he leaned in to her. Her pupils dilated as she drew him the rest of the way with her paired fingers, and, right there in front of her ex-husband and his newhusband, Trip gave his wife a good, old-fashioned, human tongue-tangle of a kiss.

Parted From Me

She held to that. She would be a good bondmate in this one way, if she couldn’t be what he needed or desired in any other way. The pain and suffering, exacerbated by the trellium that allowed her to feel him, were the price of this commitment.

If this was the one thing she could give him, she would give it willingly, whatever the personal cost.

Only October goals I engaged with this session are included in this update.

  • Poets on the Page: Write 31 new poems in October, using OctPoWriMo prompts. Secondary goal. 7/31 complete; a day behind.

I can change that! =)

    • Snippeted IS a word, as far as I’m concerned. =)

But you can’t read the stories yet, since they’ll need some revision before they’re done, and that’s not likely to happen before December at the earliest, between publication submissions and NaNo….

      But, eventually, they’ll be done…

  1. Every single word counts, you’ve made a bit of progressed.
I’m a little sad that no one is visiting my blog, even though I posted a check in last week. I’m thinking of quitting.

Take a chance! Type something in this box, and see what happens! =D
