Apparent Proof: May 8, 2016

Hey there, ROWers and others!

I’m not going to wish you a Happy Mother’s Day. I’m going to wish us all a lovely Sunday, whether we be parents or not. I do this because I know from experience that being a parent, or a child, or a human, is a complicated affair.

I’ll be hanging with my best girl later, then my writing peeps, then my beloveds. I’ll spend a few moments remembering the child I can’t hug, who never had the chance to grow up. He’s every bit as much my child as his siblings.

Love and loss, life and death, all wound together.

‘Nuff said.

The Writing Challenge That Knows You Have a Life!

  1. Happy Sunday and big hugs to you!

So much green and blue! Congratulations on being able to cut your email goal because you’ve been doing so well with it.

    • Thank you. Email was a tough tangle for a long time; I’m glad to have a better handle on it, now!

Hoping to make more of that red green , and more of that green blue, in the next couple of days.

Had a lovely swim and ice cream with my best girl, then she surprised me by coming to the write-in with me, which she hasn’t done for months!

    • There are times I’m more aware of it than others. But you’re right. He’s never not here, in my soul.

As for the writing, things are happening. Not always the way I expected, but often better than I hoped, so there’s that. =)

    • So far, so good. Lots going on, and I’m scattered a bit in my approach to it all – but I can live with that. Sometimes, I need lots of beginnings to get to the place where I can start to wrap things up.

It’s been a busy beginning to the month, and with our impending kitten arrival, that might continue on into this week and beyond. But things are moving forward, and that’s good.

Take a chance! Type something in this box, and see what happens! =D
