Grateful Growth: October 26, 2015

So, how was your weekend?

The kids and I spent Saturday at an indoor waterpark, where Annalise and her friend attended a birthday party. Jeremiah and I hung out together, had lunch, talked, and connected.

The party was for the child of the relative who instigated the events that occuied so much of my focus the last few weeks. I was determined to be civil, and not broach the topic during this child’s big day.

It wasn’t difficult. I wasn’t stressed. I relaxed, and let the day unfold as it would. I was rewarded with the gift of my growing-up-fast son, and the giggling of tween girls in the backseat all the way there and back.

Life is very, very good. =)

In other news, I’m shifting my focus for the rest of this month, as I prep for NaNoWriMo and weekend travel.
