Divergent Reflections: September 13, 2015

Round Three is all about reflection, for me: where I am, who I am, where I’d like to be, and who I’d like to be when I get there.

Yes, I do know it’s not the thirteenth anymore.

Thing is, I have a regular write-in with my local NaNo chapter every Sunday night, and I’m not comfortable using public wi-fi with an older machine. I didn’t get to this post before I left, so it waited…

So, although I’m a day late, and some things were set aside last week, while my Accomplice had some time off, other things got done or moved forward…

  1. Looks like you’re making steady progress. I like that you include tai chi and meditation in your goals. I was practicing for a while but got out of the habit. I know I need to get back into yoga, tai chi, etc.–something reflective and stress-relieving.

    Have a great week!

  2. Sounds like you’re making great progress with your writing! How are you enjoying the meditation practice? I’ve been meditating for 15 minutes every morning and it’s a really lovely addition to my daily practices. Have a good week!

    • I’ve dabbled with meditation at various other points in my life, but never stuck with it long enough to really feel that it was benefiting me.

I still have an extremely active mind that wants to leap from this to that and think all manner of things, but I’m getting better at bringing it back, again and again….

I’ve been using the mandalas in my book, and a mantra I shift a bit each time, to suit the mandala I’ve chosen for the day.

Not only do I feel calmer, and as though I’m deepening, but I’ve had lots of story ideas during that time, too!

May your week be filled with all manner of loveliness!

Take a chance! Type something in this box, and see what happens! =D
