Randomized Play: ROW80 Update, 2/12/14

Some weeks flow smoothly according to plan, while others…others seem to have a life of their own, and just won’t fit themselves to a set structure.

This has been one of the latter type, for me. Jim had a three-day weekend, which changed the rhythm and tempo of our family life in wonderful ways. He and Annalise spent a good deal of the day cooking – pancakes and bacon, pizza from scratch, even doughnuts!

The Wii bundle I ordered arrived, and the Olympics started. I signed up for WANACon (which means I’ll need to work that into my schedule for next weekend…

I gave in to Trip and T’Pol‘s insistence that I expand their story – of course, the part burning a hole in my notebook isn’t part of what I’ve planned for May, but it can serve as backstory, so that’s a plus!

On Tuesday, I had a lovely late evening with my lifelong (or very close!) best friend, filled with wandering, conversation, photos, and just being with someone who’s known me since we were four, and with whom, “Remember that time…?” can lead anywhere…

It’s a good life. =)
